It’s always a pleasure to hear from customers, even those who have not
placed an order in a while. This website is really good for
connecting up with customers who have moved away or whatever. You can
key in some details and let me have your present address, if you want to
keep in touch. An early return contact was with a customers from the
seventies who now lives in Canada. He has a number of friends who were
customers, some still are. If you have an old friend who was a
customers, I can most likely forward your address on if you would like
me to.
One
of the things I would be interested in is, who is still wearing my
oldest suit of jacket? I think it would be fun to know! I will give a
bottle of champagne to anyone who has a member of their family still
wearing one of my suits that is over twenty years old and I’ll make a
replacement suit at the original cost for the customer who is still
wearing (a suit older than the present winner). Don’t worry that you
can’t remember what you paid for it, my records will tell me. Send a
photo of yourself in the suit, or whoever is wearing it at present, to
win the champers.
Here is the current winner of the old suit competition - Mr James Hogg,
an Englishman living in Hampshire. He bought the jacket in 1972 while
at Oxford and still wears it on odd occasions.

Any improvement on 1972?
This was an early entry and for a long time looked the likely winner of
the old suit competition - Mr Nick Gordon, pictured with his dog
Sedgely. Mr Gordon lives in Sharon, Connecticut,USA.

This is George Niblet still wearing a suit I made for him during the
seventies.
